In all the games the pitch of Barbados looks completely bowling pitch as Aussie bowler dominant the series specially Stark who won the MOS. In First Odi where Aussie choose bat and scored 250 run very easy won for them as Windies all out in under 170. Second Match West Indies player dominant and won the match my 4 wickets and in last match Aussies easily chase down the very low score 145.

Winning and Losing Captain

Alex Carey: Personally and collectively, it’s exciting (to win a series). It’s tough leaving home in a pandemic. The commitment that these guys showed was great to see and getting a result in our favour was great. The T20s didn’t go our way but it’s nice to see some reward for our commitment. It’s nice to represent the country and then captain it. Fantastic group effort. The bowlers did a great job. There were some good innings in the series. A bit ugly today but to get a score like that on that pitch, you have to be a bit ugly. We learnt a lot from the other night and adapted. They (bowlers) know their skills and execute them well. We have been working really hard. (On being the top run scorer in the series) I don’t really focus a lot on my game, it’s great to see a smile on the boy’s faces. Had a lot of support this series.

Mitchell Starc | Player of the Series (11 wickets): Well, there have been ups and downs. A few went my way this series. We have good experience in our bowling group and it showed today. The batting group also learnt from the other day. It’s great when you can have both (swing with pace). I think being a left-arm quick helps me. Helps when I have Josh at the other end, and he is so consistent all the time. Our spin attack was also quite strong. It’s nice to contribute, being one of the most experienced guys at the minute. Good to win a series away from home.

Kieron Pollard: Obviously, we didn’t bat well. Yes the wicket was a bit tacky but not losing early wickets was the key. Not getting partnerships is what has been haunting us for a while. If we had got a 220 score on that pitch, it could have been different. I accept we batted badly and coming from a T20I series you gotta make some adjustments in this format and try and apply yourself. I think both teams struggled with the bat on this surface and I think that’s unacceptable for international cricket. We aren’t going to give excuses. We accept the fact that we batted badly, but the scores in this series, with two top international sides, that’s very embarrassing for us as people. Coming from St Lucia, I think it’s absolutely ridiculous. I don’t want to go on and on… as that might make some headlines, but Australia has been better than us. For us the spinners did really well and that will be our takeaway. Carey has calm head on his shoulders and got to know that from the Adelaide Strikers. He has been good on his captaincy debut and long may that continue..

Ashton Agar | Player of the Match: You always try to do something special. He (Wes) is my best mate and it was the best moment for him to get the cap (previous game). The conditions were favorable and you just let the pitch do your work. It (First Player of the Match award in ODIs) is always special, more so as it came in a final/series decider. You don’t get many pitches like this one these days. A very unique brand of cricket was played in this series. Hopefully we can see more of them.
